This month has been good to me. How? Let me count the ways:

1. Financially. Money has been coming in from so many different sources. I’ve decided to be good to myself by investing, primarily in mutual funds.

2. 10 years. I celebrated my 10th year in the company. I went out for dinner and drinks at Charlie’s Grind and Grill in Kapitolyo with co-workers who are closest to me. Writing this makes me crave for the buffalo wings and blue cheese dip. Yum!

3. Land title. I finally received the title to my lot in Tagaytay.

4. Parties galore. The major ones were for Judd’s birthday. We had a salubong at Celsius Gastrolounge where we spent the night dancing, followed by another night listening to a band at Conway’s in Shangri-La Makati and another at Grilla in Libis where we karaoke-ed with the birthday boy until the wee hours that ended with breakfast at Something Fishy in Eastwood.

5. Inspiration. I attended two conferences — Graphika Manila and Digital Ripple by IMAP — where I got to see some of the best being done by digital creatives.

6. Learning. At work, we had several Senior Management Sessions that have proved to be quite effective in making me take stock of my role in the company and to my team.

7. Opportunities. I’ve received an invitation to travel to an exotic place next month.

I’m looking forward to more great things in September.
