We had a senior management planning session recently at Discovery Suites. We decided to book a 3-br suite instead of a function room because, not only was it cheaper, it allowed us to organize a 10-year company anniversary for Judd.
After a long, “bloody” work session, we decided to take a break and indulge in steak at 22 Prime on the 22nd floor. All of us opted for the tasting menu of beef and wine for 2,500 each. The meal turned out to be death by calories. It was a bit much for me, and for most I would think. You decide.
The Tasting Menu
Lovely carpaccio (wagyu beef)
Assorted crostini
Roasted bone marrow. I prefer this bulalo-style.
Pot au feu. Loved this. Having a warm soupy dish was welcome relief.
Braised short ribs on the left, U.S. rib eye on the right. Both were superb, but I enjoyed the short ribs more because I’m partial to all things braised.
Classic chocolate marquise.
